Service Provider Network

What is the Service Provider Network?

The Amazon Service Provider Network (SPN) connects vetted, third-party service providers with Amazon sellers across the globe. Launched in 2014, SPN has grown to span 20+ marketplaces worldwide, with over 3,000 service providers helping sellers launch, manage, and grow their businesses on Amazon.

At its core, SPN exists to reduce friction for sellers - bridging capability gaps by providing on-demand, professional assistance across a wide range of service categories. For service providers, it’s an opportunity to reach an active seller base through an Amazon-hosted platform, backed by the credibility of Amazon’s review and approval process.

Who can register for SPN?

SPN is designed for third-party service providers that help Amazon sellers operate and grow. If your company offers services that support sellers in any of the following areas, SPN may be the right fit:

  • Imaging — Product photography and image editing to meet Amazon’s listing standards
  • Cataloging — Creating compliant, optimized product listings including titles, bullet points, and descriptions
  • Enhanced Brand Content — Developing A+ content and rich product detail pages that drive conversion
  • Account Management — Launching, growing, and managing seller businesses on Amazon
  • Advertising Optimization — Managing keyword strategy, sponsored ads, and campaign performance
  • International Shipping — Cross-border logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance for global sellers
  • Accounting — Financial management, bookkeeping, and Amazon-specific financial analysis
  • Taxes — Tax registration, VAT compliance, and filing support across multiple marketplaces
  • Compliance — Product testing, certification, inspection, and quality assurance for Amazon marketplaces

  • Storage — Warehousing and inventory management solutions outside Amazon’s fulfillment network
  • International Returns — Managing cross-border return logistics for global sellers
  • Excess Inventory — Liquidation, remarketing, and recovery strategies for overstock and slow-moving inventory
  • IP Accelerator — Trademark filing and brand protection services through Amazon’s vetted IP law firm network
  • Sustainability — Environmental certifications, packaging sustainability, and Climate Pledge Friendly compliance support
  • Seller Lending (US, Brazil and Mexico only): Lenders and other financial institutions to help sellers in securing term-loans, working capital and other financial instruments for their capital requirements.
  • Manufacturing (invite only)— Product sourcing, contract manufacturing, and supply chain management
  • Domestic Shipping (invite only for India): FBA enrolled sellers may look for carrier/ shipping services to ship their products to designated Amazon Fulfilment Centers (FCs) from the seller’s premises. Such carrier/shipping services may include doorstep pick up and scheduling FC appointments.

SPN is open to service businesses at various stages - from emerging providers to established firms with deep specialization across multiple categories and regions.

How the Qualification Process Works?

Amazon takes a rigorous, service-specific approach to evaluating prospective providers. The qualification process is designed to ensure that every provider in the network meets a consistent bar for infrastructure, compliance, and service quality.

The process generally follows these stages:

  1. Identity Verification — Amazon verifies the identity of all service provider account owners as well as secondary users.
  2. Policy Compliance Review — Your business is assessed for compliance with Amazon’s policies and standards.
  3. Capability Evaluation — Amazon reviews your experience in the e-commerce industry, your scale of operations, and your track record serving Amazon sellers.
  4. Listing — Once approved, providers can submit their listing data to complete their SPN profile, tailored to the service categories they offer, which will be discoverable by sellers on Seller Central SPN Storefront.

All service providers agree to the standard Solution Provider Agreement, Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy to get qualified for Service Provider Network.

What Providers Get Access To

Once accepted into SPN, providers gain access to a set of tools and platforms designed to support their day-to-day operations and growth:

  • Solution Provider Portal (SPP) — your central hub for managing your account, data access qualification, listing, seller account permissions, employees and their access, and submitting support requests
  • SPN seller request management — your lead management system on SPP to view all seller requests, check their details, exchange documents, update status, and bulk lead management
  • Account Management Central (AMC) — available to account management service providers, AMC lets you view key performance data for all your managed sellers in one place
  • FC Appointment Booking tool — available to shipping service providers, to book inbounding appointments with Amazon FCs for their seller shipments

Why SPN Membership Matters?

Joining SPN is more than a listing - it’s a signal of credibility. Providers in the network have been reviewed and approved by Amazon, which carries meaningful weight with sellers evaluating their options.

Visibility at scale. SPN providers are discoverable to the sellers worldwide who use Seller Central.

Amazon-backed trust. The SPN listing placement signals to sellers that your business has met Amazon’s standards. That trust reduces the friction that often slows down new client relationships.

A growing ecosystem. SPN has expanded to 20+ marketplaces across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. As Amazon’s seller base grows, so does the demand for qualified service providers.

Structured support. From centralized support to service fulfilment tools, SPN gives providers the infrastructure to deliver quality services at scale.
